About Homewatch CareGivers of Ann Arbor

We are Brian and Breanne Stuart, parents to two boys and owners of Homewatch CareGivers of Ann Arbor, serving Washtenaw and Livingston counties. We have a deep passion for caring and serving others and feel blessed that we have been given the opportunity to serve our community by providing caring and compassionate caregivers.

As a teenager, I (Breanne) was a caregiver for my grandfather who had Parkinson’s disease. I cared for him along with my parents and grandmother and did everything from make his meals three times a day to assisting him with toileting. It was an amazing opportunity for me to care for him and have him depend on me. When my father was diagnosed with colon cancer my family all worked together to provide care for him as well, and as he worsened we called in hospice care to have them train us in different techniques. I was truly a caregiver to my Dad: I made sure he was comfortable, that he had his pain medication, and that he was able to get to the bathroom without falling.

After college and at some point during my career as a commercial lender, I realized that I was not doing what I wanted to do and that’s when I found Homewatch CareGivers. I knew this was something that would get me up in the morning on a daily basis because I knew the impact that it made in my own family’s lives. Now I can bring that care to other people’s lives professionally.

Brian and I have also provided caregiving for his grandmother after her breast cancer diagnosis and we continue to help out my Mom. We are inspired to give back to our community by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s. To give you peace of mind that we provide the highest quality of care, we maintain memberships with the National Private Duty Association and the Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce, and our business is certified through the Department of Human Services and Area Agency on Aging.

Choosing a caregiver agency is no easy task, and every aspect of that agency should be considered, from their staff to types of care they provide. Homewatch CareGivers prides itself on our ability to understand your home health care needs and seek to provide the best home care available. With a multitude of home care agencies available, picking the perfect one should be a collaborative process with an expert in-home care agency that understands all aspects of home care. With Homewatch CareGivers of Ann Arbor, you can rest assured we have your in-home care needs in mind with every one of our consultations.

Our goal is to keep you or your loved ones securely at home with peace, dignity, and a sense of purpose.
