GRAND RAPIDS, MICH., Dec. 6, 2024 – On Friday, Dec. 6, Greyson Clothiers, Rockford Construction (Rockford) and Grand Rapids community leaders and state legislators celebrated the opening of the new Greyson store on Monroe Center in downtown Grand Rapids with a ribbon cutting. The ribbon cutting was held at the new 4,100 square-foot Greyson Clothiers Grand Rapids Den, located at 40 Monroe Center St. NW – next to Shinola in the Peck Building in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids.

“On behalf of Greyson, I just want to thank you all for being here,” said Chris Brancato, Greyson vice president of retail. “We are excited for all of you to shop with us and build our community here in Grand Rapids. It's because of Greyson that my family and I moved here a year ago, and what we found is a really warm, business-friendly environment with a downtown that's on the rise.”

In honor of the Grand Rapids store opening, Greyson, a national luxury lifestyle brand with Michigan roots, is offering a limited early-release shoe in collaboration with Rockford, Michigan-based Wolverine World Wide’s Saucony brand. Greyson will offer 50 pairs of its Greyson x Saucony shoe to in-store Grand Rapids guests on Saturday, Dec. 7; before it debuts online on Dec. 9. Greyson is also offering a 20% off promotion for in-store guests from 5-8 p.m. on Dec. 7; the Greyson x Saucony shoe and licensed athletic products are excluded from the promotion.

“Monroe Center has been a passion for us,” said Rockford CEO Mike VanGessel. “We know that we have something special here on Monroe Center – we have incredible tenants. We're builders, we build things. We know how to attack these things, but it takes the life that groups like Greyson bring to really make a street and to make a place.

Since launching in 2015, Greyson quickly established itself as a category leader in the golf and lifestyle apparel market by offering a differentiated and more versatile perspective on performance apparel. Greyson has strategically expanded its omnichannel presence – serving customers across multiple countries through a growing network of brick-and-mortar locations and a robust network of distributors – with a focus on expansion in key markets.

Unique to Greyson Clothiers Grand Rapids Den is the addition of a “Custom Shop” — a glass enclosure to offer guests the opportunity to customize hats and other wears while watching the process in action. Greyson’s Grand Rapids store is open daily, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday-Saturday.

Greyson’s Grand Rapids store joins eight retail dens worldwide, including two in Michigan: Detroit and Harbor Springs. Other locations include: New Orleans, New York City, West Palm Beach, Atlanta, Denver, and Republic of Korea.
