Greater Lansing CVB Welcomes New Marketing Staff
LANSING, Mich. – The Greater Lansing Convention and Visitors Bureau (GLCVB) is pleased to announce its hiring of two new marketing team members, Emily Hedglen and Adrienne Cooley.
“We are excited to welcome Emily and Adrienne to the organization,” said Julie Pingston, President and CEO of the GLCVB. “We have no doubt they will be an integral part of the marketing team’s efforts to promote Lansing as a meeting and tourism destination and grow the local economy.”
Emily Hedglen, CTA, Graphic Design Manager
Formerly the GLCVB’s marketing intern, Emily joins the marketing team full-time as Graphic Design Manager. She has a bachelor’s degree in Apparel and Textile Design from Michigan State University, as well as an associate degree in Graphic Communications from Lansing Community College.
Emily will develop marketing and promotional materials that promote Greater Lansing. She will also assist in the creation and management of published content on the GLCVB and Greater Lansing Sports Authority (GLSA) social channels.
Adrienne Cooley, Social Media & Communications Manager
With a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and a minor in Advertising & Public Relations from Grand Valley State University, Adrienne brings more than five years of public relations agency experience to the GLCVB marketing team.
She will oversee media relations, social media, written and digital content with the goal of driving engagement and promoting Greater Lansing as a travel destination.
“Emily and Adrienne bring new energy and experience to the MarCom department,” said Tracy Padot, Vice President of Marketing Communications at the GLCVB. “I’m eager to incorporate their fresh insights and skills to help produce amazing materials to promote the region.”
