Angela Austin talks with Rahman Shareef and Andre' Dandridge of NewYoungFathers.com. The mission of NewYoungFathers.com is "to empower young men under the age of 25 to become responsible fathers through ongoing programming that provides support, educational materials that offer parenting skills, life skills, and guidance. Our goal is to guide and motivate young fathers to raise children that are respectful, creative productive citizens."
Bio for Rahman Shareef:
Rahman Shareef serves as CEO of New Young Fathers.com and holds an MBA in Strategic Management. Rahman also holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management, B.A. in Community Services. Rahman is a proven leader with over twelve years of progressive experience within the non-profit and government sectors in human services, administration, finance and research. He has additional experience in leveraging leadership skills to engage target populations, generate organizational awareness, and increase fundraising opportunities.

Bio for Andre' Dandridge:
Andre' Dandridge, Co-founded NewYoungFathers.com in 2008 in Lansing, Michigan, after finishing his law degree at Michigan State University College of law. After recruiting a dynamic team, NewYoungFathers.com began to serve young fathers in Lansing and Detroit. As a result of this service in 2012, Mr. Dandridge, on behalf of NewYoungFathers.com, became a Bme Leader and as a result, the organization was given national attention. In 2013, Mr. Dandridge was given the Spirit of Detroit Award from the Detroit City Counsel, the same year he relocated to Sunny Isles Florida. Additionally, he was named as a "Game Changer "by Newsone for his work with NewYoungFathers.com.
In 2014, he became a B.O.L.D. Leader and began contributing to the Goodmen project via monthly articles about fatherhood. Mr. Dandridge also teaches Legal Studies at a Florida University, and is registered to practice in patent cases before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Dandridge has been happily married for fifteen years to his lovely wife and has two daughters.
