Adrian College senior Gage Dansby joins as student strategist
LANSING, Mi. – Edge, one of the leading public relations agencies in the state of Michigan, welcomes Gage Dansby as a student strategist for the summer.
Dansby, an incoming senior at Adrian College, will develop skills at Edge under the guidance of Danielle Lenz, director of public relations and digital media. Currently, he is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in communication arts and sciences with a minor in journalism. His previous experience includes public relations work for the Adrian International Film Festival, radio production at 92.1 FM Lansing, former internships at Rock Ventures and the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services, along with serving as associate producer and marketing coordinator of the feature-length documentary Without Wax.
Gage’s experiences at Edge will focus on developing public relations strategies, social media content and news releases for a diverse list of clients. Gage will help provide insight and a new perspective to further connect with clients and their consumers.
This is an important hire considering the current workplace status within the state of Michigan. With the continued health and safety guidelines set in place by Governor Whitmer due to the COVID-19 pandemic, various places of business are unable to expand their hiring or provide internships during these uncertain times. Gage’s hiring highlights Edge’s adaptability to uncertain times and our commitment to provide new generations with the guidance and experience they need to be successful when they pursue their careers. At Edge, we want to provide as many of these fulfilling opportunities as possible, especially in these difficult times.
