LANSING, MI – Edge, a strategic marketing and public relations agency, received honors by the Central Michigan Public Relations Society of Michigan with one pinnacle and two excellence awards during the 2023 Pace Awards celebration.

The CMPRSA PACE Awards celebration is an annual event recognizing public relations practitioners who have successfully addressed a contemporary issue with exemplary professional skill, creativity, and resourcefulness. More than 300 mid-Michigan organizations in the non-profit, corporate, public, and private sectors have been recognized for excellence over the past two decades. These were held last evening at the MSUFCU headquarters of East Lansing, MI.

Campaigns earning honors included:

  • Community relations campaign for Child and Family Charities’ Be the Light capital fundraising campaign, raising public awareness and funds to centrally locate all programs and services on the former McLaren Greater Lansing campus. This campaign won a pinnacle award, the highest honor given by the PRSA chapter.
  • Marketing consumer products and services for Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan’s Experience Matters campaign showcasing the difference experienced insurance agents make during critical times in life. This campaign received an award of excellence.
  • Public service campaign with Ingham County Health Department’s Your Shot public education initiative focused on vaccine uptake among Ingham County residents. This campaign received an award of excellence.

“Edge’s client success is our success. We focus on measurable results and exceeding their goals,” said Edge CEO Lorri Rishar, MBA. “We are honored to share these prestigious awards with our clients and celebrate the PR profession with colleagues.”

The PACE Awards are mid-Michigan’s highest honor for public relations activities. They are awarded annually to practitioners who successfully address issues with professional skill, creativity and resourcefulness.
