LeadershipMichael Rogers, vice president communications for the Small Business Association of Michigan, interviews Joel Tillman, owner of several Mathnasium locations in mid-Michigan.

Tillman is a member of the Association’s Leadership Council. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from Trinity International University. He is a certified secondary (6th-12th grade) math teacher in both Michigan and Illinois. Joel has taught in both traditional and alternative education classrooms around the greater Lansing area. In addition to being the Managing Director of Mathnasium of Delta Township, Joel also oversees two other Mathnasium locations: Mathnasium of Okemos and Mathnasium of Brighton.
