Born and raised in Michigan, the Shaver brothers (Travis and Thomas) arrived in New York last year with a mission. That mission was to start writing, recording, and performing music and their genius, and long time backgrounds in musicology delivered their new sound and the birth of “Boyfriend Genes” was launched.  The Shaver bothers talents have garnered fresh music lovers with delightful genetic harmonies delivered by the boys. It’s literally difficult to tell them apart when they sing, and when their voices blend together a cacophony of sound fills your ears.

Boyfriend Genes music is executed with such great stamina and love of the sounds both vocal and instrumental components create, that will soon be shared with the audience listening live a part of the future with venue performance throughout New York to start soon.
