BAY CITY, Mich. – Bay Future, Inc., the countywide economic development organization responsible for business retention, attraction, and expansion efforts throughout Bay County, is pleased to announce its recent hire of Sarah Priem, who will join the team as Operations Manager.
Priem will work alongside President & CEO Jim Reaume to market the services of Bay Future, inc as well as implementing policies and processes to make the organization more efficient and effective for the businesses in Bay County.
“I am excited to get started and make an impact on the community. Bay County is a great place to live and work and we want to make that possible for current and future residents by attracting businesses and retaining those with the potential to create new living wage jobs,” said Priem.
Jim Reaume, President & CEO, said Sarah Priem’s hiring was the culmination of a multi-round competitive process that saw many qualified applicants. Reaume said Priem’s passion for the community, her education, work experience, and skill, made her a perfect fit for the role, the organization, and the community.

Priem has a portfolio of experiences that have equipped her with the skills necessary to make an impact in her new role. She has spent the last 20 years at Town & Country Electric, Inc. in roles such as Business Manager and Office Manager. Before that she was the Business Manager for The Valley Vanguard, which is the student newspaper at Saginaw Valley State University.
Priem was born and raised in Bay County and is a graduate of Michigan Lutheran Seminary. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Saginaw Valley State University in Business Administration and Marketing. Priem lives in Frankenlust Township with her husband, daughter, and son.
