Fundraising. Often times the very activity that is needed to sustain and grow a non-profit organization or event. As someone who is responsible for it in my organization, I can tell you first-hand how difficult it can be at times. For you as a business or community supporter, I am sure it can be just as frustrating sifting through all the worthy events, sponsorships, memberships, campaigns, etc. year round. Yet, your commitment of financial resources is the lifeblood of so many organizations, allowing them to accomplish their mission. And it is appreciated.

The Michigan Economic Developers Association (MEDA), founded in 1960, exists to advance economic development throughout Michigan, and increase the individual member’s effectiveness in the economic development profession. The association’s goal is to provide a variety of services and programs that will enhance ability and skills in economic development. Through education, legislative updates, public relations and networking, MEDA makes it possible for economic development professionals statewide to accomplish their goals more efficiently and effectively.
