Having been involved with Youth Haven's ministry all of his life, Lars Carlson would be quick to tell you that God is amazing as He directs people's lives and often changes what is expected. With a career goal of becoming an airline pilot, God clearly moved in Lars' heart and directed him, and his wife Amy, back to the ministry where he grew up as the son and grandson of the founders. During his time at U.T., while performing in a local coffee shop, Philip was heard by the tour director for John Denver.
