Patrick A. Heller speaks with Jesse Patrick of the Patrick Mint in Santa Rosa, California. Jesse began working as a coin dealer in Detroit, where he grew up.  He began the Patrick Mint to begin producing tokens and medals that bear similarities to historical US Coins. Most of these issues were used for advertising by the businesses and customers that commissioned the jobs, The Patrick Mint also fabricated the Alongside Night ¼ Ounce Gold and Silver Commemoratives for the movie Alongside for which Patrick A. Heller was Executive Producer and financier.

Heller talks with John Mercanti, former Chief Engraver for the United States Mint from 2006-2010.  Mercanti designed 100 coins and medals while working at the US Mint since 1974, beginning as an illustrator. Among his most famous coins are the reverse design for the US Silver Eagle Dollars that have been struck annually since 1986.

Liberty Coins Giving Away More Free Money To Students!

 LANSING, Mich. June 28, 2016 - Following its successful Free Money giveaway on Saturday June 18, Liberty Coins will continue to give away free coins to incoming kindergarten through high school students from now up to Labor Day.  Students will be able to select and keep up to six foreign coins each day from a treasure chest at the store in the Frandor Shopping Center.  As a bonus, Liberty will track the schools attended by children to donate a 20-pound bag of foreign coins (about 3,000 pieces) to the school whose students visit the store most often between now and Labor Day.
