It is with deep sadness that 5 days later "Back to the Bricks" has to share an update about cancelling. Not what we wanted to do, but it’s for the best interest in safety and health of all others.

Back to the Bricks leaders have been working hard on restructuring the summer events over the past 3 months due to the continued concerns over COVID-19. After careful consideration and consultation with our Back to the Bricks Board, Sponsors and many, many Volunteers, the 16th Annual Back to the Bricks Car Show will look and feel much different from previous years.

Detroit Cancels 2020 NAIAS Auto Show

This year’s Detroit North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) has been canceled but will return in June 2021.

Mich. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer says the TCF Center (formerly Cobo Center), which normally anchors the show, is to be converted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers into a 900-bed emergency hospital to help handle Michigan’s rising number of COVID-19 victims.
