The Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) is happy to congratulate Dixon Doll on receiving the National Venture Capital Association’s (NVCA) 2021 Lifetime Achievement in Venture Capital Award.

We at the Center could not be more proud of this two-time Michigan Engineering alumnus and sponsor of the Dixon and Carol Doll Executive Director position at the CFE.

The Lifetime Achievement in Venture Capital Award recognizes venture professionals who have dedicated their professional lives to creating and building successful and highly competitive venture firms as well as portfolio companies that have made a significant contribution to the growth and success of the U.S. economy. Recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award were instrumental in the formation and growth of the venture capital industry and have consistently set high performance standards for the entire industry. For those unfamiliar with this award, it is essentially the Nobel Prize of the venture capital world.

For more than 35 years, Dixon has influenced and guided entrepreneurs, investors and executives in the computer, communications, and internet industries. It is that kind of vision that we are honored to be able to continue to instill in our students by providing them an entrepreneurial mindset to seek out solutions for global problems today and in the future.
