Empowering Young Advocates and Strengthening Community Bonds to Help Animals in Need 

DETROIT, MI – September 19th, 2024 – Henry’s Lemonade Stand is teaming up with Detroit Salsa Company for a heartwarming event to benefit the River Rouge Animal Shelter, bringing the community together in support of a great cause. At the center of it all, is a remarkable 8-year-old boy named Henry, whose passion for helping animals inspired The Brady Hunter Foundation to contribute a $5,000 donation – the highest the young philanthropist has ever received. 

This fundraiser will shine a spotlight on Henry’s incredible work and the efforts of Detroit Salsa Company, all while raising critical funds for the River Rouge Animal Shelter. The Brady Hunter Foundation’s contribution is a testament to their shared commitment to improving the lives of animals in need. 

With over 300 RSVPs, excitement is building for what promises to be a day filled with community spirit and a shared love for animals. 

Event Details: 

• When: Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM 

• Where: 3464 Fort St., Lincoln Park, Michigan 

• What: A fundraiser supporting the River Rouge Animal Shelter, featuring a special $5,000 check presentation to Henry by The Brady Hunter Foundation. 

Josh Fox, Founder of The Brady Hunter Foundation, shared, “When we learned about Henry’s unwavering dedication to animal welfare, we knew we had to get involved and empower him. Supporting young advocates like Henry is at the core of our mission, and we’re proud to contribute to his incredible efforts.” 

Henry’s mom, Shelley Grant, expressed her gratitude, saying, “Henry’s love for animals has been a huge part of our lives, and seeing his work recognized means the world to us.
