FLINT, Mich, June 7, 2021 – 100K Ideas is excited to announce our third Office Hours location in partnership with the LatinX Technology and Community Center. The LatinX Center is a community center located at 2101 Lewis St., Flint, MI 48506. This expansion of 100K Ideas Office Hours was made possible with the generous support of the Ruth Mott Foundation. 

“We are excited to expand our community partnerships with the addition of the LatinX Technology and Community Center as an Office Hours location,” said Brandee Cooke-Brown, Executive Director of 100K Ideas. “100K Ideas’ Office Hours has allowed us to extend our reach outside of Downtown Flint and into the neighborhoods of Flint residents, providing increased access to those interested in pursuing entrepreneurship. The LatinX Center is an amazing organization that does so much for the community. The work they are doing every day to help residents made them a perfect partner for this initiative.”  

100K Ideas Office Hours was launched early 2019. Office Hours was one of several community engagement and outreach strategies developed by 100K Ideas to better serve Flint residents. This initiative places 100K Ideas’ staff at community center locations throughout the city, where residents can come to discuss their ideas and begin their entrepreneurial pursuits. Office Hours was initially launched in partnership with the Flint Development Center and Berston Field House in Spring 2019.  

While Office Hours have been on a brief hiatus due to COVID-19, Flint residents can now visit our Office Hours’ locations throughout the week. 100K Ideas will be at the LatinX Center every Tuesday from 12PM to 5:30PM, the Flint Development Center every Wednesday from 9:30AM to 3:30PM, and Berston Field House every Thursday from 10:30AM to 5:30PM.

When completing an appointment request, there is the option to choose the location that is most convenient. There is also a virtual intake option, in which the meeting will be conducted fully online.
