Dresco Machining & Fabrication Receive Industry 4.0 Grant

Bay City-based Dresco Machining and Fabrication is embracing the future of advanced manufacturing with the help of a $25,000 Industry 4.0 Technology Implementation Grant. The award, made possible through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), and aided by the Great Lakes Bay Manufacturers Association and Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center, will support Dresco’s investment in automation and data-driven technologies that are critical to competing in the modern manufacturing landscape.

Dresco, known for its high-precision machining and custom fabrication services, plans to use the grant to integrate new Industry 4.0 technologies into its operations. These upgrades will improve efficiency, increase production capacity, and enhance product quality. This investment also reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and its readiness to lead in the evolving manufacturing sector.
