Like many people, wearing a mask bothers us. It fogs our glasses until we can no longer see. It is uncomfortable on hot summer days.
But, we will continue to wear a mask when we visit indoor businesses.”
Thanks to our friends at the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance for partnering with us on this letter and to Route Bay City for the article (click here to read fullletter).
As we continue to work aggressively to support our local businesses, and partner with those that are working hard to do the same, we hear the struggles and the challenges owners face both financially and through the adjustment of routine and new expectations.
The single most impactful action that many of us can take in the fight against COVID-19, aside from washing our hands, is to wear a mask. We are eager to do our part to help facilitate and support a full reopening and recovery of the economy but in order for that we must take the proper precautions. So, please stand with us, be kind, and please be understanding of the position business owners are in and wear your mask. It is one of the best ways we can continue to support our local businesses.
Happy reading and stay safe,
