“Bay City is near and dear. I think wherever we all grow up, it holds a spot, a light within our souls that we just want it to flourish, be great, and you’re proud of it,” Lyndsay Edmonds, Owner of The Public House and Harless + Hugh Coffee.
As we mark the one-year anniversary of an extremely difficult year for our Bay County small businesses and our community, we take pause to reflect and commemorate the sacrifices and accomplishments over that time. I am so grateful for the business owners in our community who have risked everything to establish and sustain the quality of life we experience here as well as their contributions to our local economy, the jobs they have retained and created, and their commitment to our community, and to each other.
Through the trials and tribulations of the pandemic and the economic effects from it, our community members have come together. I’m excited to share with you today a few videos highlighting an exciting partnership between The Public House & Tri-City Brewingand how these two businesses are working to positively impact our hyper-local economy. You will also see the progress that Tri-City Cheese & Meats, Home of Troll Smokehouse is making on its $2.4 Million business expansion. We’re excited to share more from small businesses and industry and invite you to join us for our 2020 Annual Meeting on April 21.
These types of efforts illustrated above are also having an impact throughout the community as volunteer groups are rolling up their sleeves to help beautify Bay City/Bay County. And you have the opportunity to make a difference and get involved!
Join the effort on April 23 for the Wenonah Park Clean-Up & Day of Caring 2021. Learn more information about the partnership between the annual Wenonah Clean-Up and the United Way’s Day of Caring here.
