Bank of America SHOWCASING METAVERSE TECHNOLOGY, DIGITAL BANKING TOOLS AT Grand Rapids Tech Week for 2,500 LOCAL Students ON SEPT. 16

Michigan Business Network: Bank of AmericaStudent Tech Showcase at Grandville Robotics and Engineering Center will focus on how technology can empower kids and families to build strong financial educational habits and explore tech careers

 

WHAT:       

On Tuesday, September 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET at the Grandville Robotics and Engineering Center, more than 2,500 students from across Kent and Ottawa counties will experience a state-of-the-art

virtual reality (VR) training system brought by The Academy at Bank of America, along with other innovative digital financial technology tools available for students and their families.

                  

This hands-on Student Tech Showcase event will help strengthen the region’s future tech talent pipeline by offering students immersive experiences in cutting-edge technology and exposure to potential career paths.

 

In addition to showcasing Bank of America’s VR technologies, the event will also feature information about Bank of America’s Family Banking and Life Plan digital financial tools, displayed on two six-foot-tall, back-to-back interactive “Padzilla” screens within the bank’s exhibit space.

              

The Student Tech Showcase is part of Tech Week Grand Rapids, a week-long series of events that celebrates the region’s vibrant tech community. Tech Week features interactive tech exhibits, panel discussions, pitch competitions and networking opportunities.

In addition to Bank of America, the event will feature more than 30 employers as well as representatives from multiple colleges and universities.
