MBN: ACGL

Calling Creatives and Idea Makers

The City of Lansing $75,000 Arts Impact Project Grant is open and accepting letters of intent. We are pleased to share the news of this creative opportunity. Do you have an amazing project idea you’d like to see come to life in Lansing? If your answer is “YES!” then all you have to do is send a simple letter of intent to membership and program manager Taylor Haslett! She will review them for basic eligibility, and those who qualify will receive an invitation to submit a full proposal.

Words and Pictures

The Arts Impact Project application is a two-step written or video submission process in which interested parties can share their creative impact idea to be reviewed by a panel.

  • Step one: Interested parties send a simple letter of intent to Taylor Haslett to be reviewed for basic eligibility.
  • Step two: Applicants who submit eligible projects will be notified with an invitation to provide a full proposal to the program for review.

High Impact

One award of $75,000 will be made to an individual, group of creatives, arts organization, or non-profit organization for a large-scale, high-impact arts project to be completed within the City of Lansing.

The FY27 grant program is now open, with Letters of Intent due by 5 p.m. on Oct. 16, 2026.

For those invited to submit an application, a complete grant proposal will be due by 11:59 p.m., Nov. 25, 2026.
