Tony Vernaci Vice President, Global Business informs MBN’s Jeffrey Mosher about the latest endeavours with SpeedNews. Earlier this year, Global Business began working with SpeedNews to campaign and to hold their annual aerospace manufacturing conference in Michigan.
The conference is centered on aerospace manufacturing and moves around the country from year to year. It was held in Charleston, SC this past May with a focus on Boeing. Michigan was competing with other states for this conference. “We were successful in convincing them there is no better place in the nation where these two industries converge more than in Michigan” says Vernaci. The event will be unique and very significant because it will promote the synergy between the aerospace and automotive industries to be labeled as an aero-auto conference, the first of its kind. The conference will take place next May 2nd through the 4th at the Henry Hotel in Dearborn, MI.
