Helped to create a public-private partnership across boundaries that focuses the community on succeeding economically by working together.
Responsible for the management, funding, legislative advocacy and strategic planning of the organization. Led the organization through the AEDO accreditation process under IEDC, making the Lake Superior Community Partnership the only Accredited Economic Development Organization Upper Michigan and one of three in the state.
Passed the Certified Economic Developer's exam in 2010 and is a Certified Fundraising Manager.
