More than $50,000 in 2026 grants already awarded to strengthen financial education in communities nationwide
DEARBORN, Mich., (April 7, 2026) — In recognition of Financial Literacy Month, The Auto Club Group (ACG) Foundation announced that it has already awarded $50,000 in financial literacy grants in 2026, reinforcing its commitment to helping individuals and families build essential money‑management skills. This follows the $84,000 in financial literacy grants distributed in 2025, reflecting the Foundation’s continued, multi‑year investment in empowering communities across its 14‑state footprint.
The ACG Foundation’s financial literacy initiatives strengthen a wide range of community resources, including classroom curriculum, hands‑on workshops, and accessible digital learning tools. These programs ensure that people who need support the most, students, first‑time workers, underserved families, and seniors, can access practical tools to build smarter money habits and work toward long‑term financial independence.
“Financial literacy is more than a program; it’s an investment in safer, stronger communities,” said Matt Nasworthy, Director of the ACG Foundation. “Our grants help schools and nonprofits deliver resources that make a measurable difference, one book, one lesson, and one learner at a time. We’re proud to expand this work in 2026 as demand for trusted financial education continues to grow.”
The Foundation’s financial empowerment efforts align with ACG’s long-standing belief that education is a cornerstone of community well‑being. Through collaboration with schools, nonprofits, and grassroots organizations, the Foundation continues to expand its reach, ensuring more people can access the financial tools they need to navigate real‑world challenges.
“As the cost of living rises and financial decisions become more complex, families are looking for guidance they can trust,” said Adrienne Woodland, spokeswoman for AAA–The Auto Club Group. “The ACG Foundation’s financial literacy grants directly support the programs that help people make informed decisions about budgeting, credit, savings, and protecting their financial futures.”
