LANSING, Mich. – University of Michigan Health-Sparrow is changing the game for pediatric care in Mid-Michigan. Starting this month, the UM Health-Sparrow Children’s Center will transition to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at UM Health-Sparrow.
“This new identity highlights UM Health-Sparrow’s strong connection to the state’s top-ranked children’s hospital, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, and reflects our commitment to providing world-class pediatric care in Mid-Michigan,” said Steven Martin, M.D., medical co-director, UM Health-Sparrow Children’s Center (left).
University of Michigan Health-Sparrow has been the leading provider of pediatric care in Mid-Michigan for years. From newborns in critical condition to children in need of complex specialty services, families have trusted UM Health-Sparrow to deliver expert care close to home.
“Since beginning our collaboration with Sparrow several years ago, we’ve worked hard to expand our care and provide the most comprehensive range of specialty services to pediatric patients and their families in Mid-Michigan,” said Ron Hirschl, M.D., medical co-director of the University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Children’s Center. “Now, this name change reinforces our commitment to that care and highlights our seamless connection to a nationally ranked children’s hospital.”
