At the next federal contracting workshop on Dec. 6, businesses will learn about available grant funding they can use to compete for a federal contract and meet the pre-qualified proposal writers that can help them win. The program is called the Proposal Writing Service grant program and it can provide up to $10,000 in state grant funding that can be used to have a federal contract proposal developed by a pre-qualified professional. The cost is free to attend but registration is required.

President Joe Biden visited SK Siltron CSS, a semiconductor chip manufacturer near Bay City, on Tuesday afternoon touting federal taxpayer investments in manufacturing to move supply chains to the U.S. and pursue an energy future with fewer carbon emissions. Biden toured SK Siltron, a U.S. subsidiary of the Korean SK Group conglomerate, which celebrated a $300 million investment with a ribbon cutting in September – further boosting Michigan’s leadership role in the national semiconductor supply chain.
