Michigan Patient Advocacy Forum

Virtual Event

Join us for MichBio’s second Patient Advocacy Forum! This virtual event will bring together Michigan’s patient advocacy community along with life science industry representatives, policymakers, and thought leaders, to identify critical issues and ways on how all stakeholders can partner for mutual benefit.
 
The goal is to empower patient advocacy stakeholders, explore collaborations, understand advocacy priorities, and seek a better understanding of patients’ hopes, needs, and challenges here in Michigan.
 
 
 
 
 
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
 
The Patient Advocacy Forum is designed to provide an avenue for engagement between patients, advocates, policy makers, and industry professionals whose roles are motivated by patient stories. Session topics will include empowering patient voices, FDA perspective on patient engagement, collaborations, and more.

  • Patients and Patient Advocates or Advocacy Groups
  • R&D or Manufacturing company Leadership and Policy or Government Affairs Representatives
  • Lawmakers and Policy Staff
 
 
PATIENT PAVILION
 
Patient Advocate Organizations are invited to participate in the Patient Pavilion with a virtual booth highlighting your organization and disease area, your mission and goals, collateral – including video – and other information. Pavilion participants will have the ability to connect with attendees through video messaging and chat options within their booths as well as, have the ability to connect with attendees for 30 day after the event within the event platform.
 
Pavilions are FREE for all Patient Groups.

If you register as a Patient or Patient Advocate Organization you will have the option to:
 
Customize a virtual Patient Pavilion and engage with attendees before, during and after the event and have the option to submit a video to be played during the event.
