Retail Boot Camp Showcase is May 23
Join TechTown on May 23 to celebrate the hustle and hard work of 17 Retail Boot Camp (RBC) graduates! The Spring 2023 RBC Showcase will kick off with The SHOP at Showcase at 4:30 p.m., and participants will then pitch their businesses on stage starting at 6 p.m. Five standouts will each win a $5,000 Kickstart Award, and one People’s Choice Award winner will receive $1,000!

The party is getting started for Bouncing Around The Motor City

Recently, Bouncing Around The Motor City was crowned the winner of the 2023 Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest, taking home the $100,000 grand prize from Comerica Bank. Cathryn Coleman, founder and owner of Bouncing Around the Motor City, and Christianne Malone, chief program officer at TechTown, were on WDIV’s Live in the D to talk about Coleman’s plans to open a storefront and Hatch Detroit’s mission and impact.
