
Daust, President and CEO, Range Bank
LANSING, Mich.- The Michigan Bankers Association (MBA) announces the election of Roxanne Daust, President and CEO, of Range Bank as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
“Roxanne is a talented business leader and an experienced board member,” stated T. Rann Paynter, President and CEO, MBA. “Roxanne’s breadth of industry knowledge will be an essential asset and valuable resource to the MBA and our members.”
Mrs. Daust began her career at Range Bank in 1997 as the Chief Financial Officer where she was responsible for the finance and operations areas of the bank. She moved into her role as Executive Vice President in 2011 and took on additional operational and administrative duties. She was promoted to President & COO in 2017 and took over the additional Chairman and CEO duties on June 1, 2018, with the retirement of Ken Palmer. During her 24-plus year career at the bank, she worked with a team of executive officers to grow balance sheet assets from $68 million to over $500 million and assets under management to over $1 billion. Mrs. Daust received her undergraduate degree from Northern Michigan University (NMU). She is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
She serves as the board president of the Lake Superior Community Partners, is Dean Advisory Council with the Northern Michigan University School of Business, is Board member and Treasurer of Operation Action U.P., is a member of Apprentice of the Year, participates in the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council and the Advisory Committee for Reserve Bank Director Selection, committee member of the Marquette County Ambassadors, belongs to the Literacy Legacy Fund of Michigan, United Way, past board members of the Upper Peninsula Power Company (UPPCO), mentor in NMU Student Leadership Fellowship, past member and board president of Marquette Area Zonta Club and past member and board president of Teaching Family Homes.
“I am honored to have been elected by my peers to serve as MBA Chairman,” Daust said. “I look forward to working closely with such a talented, respected group of officers and board members to ensure the Michigan Bankers Association remains a strong resource for the state’s banks, their customers, and Michigan’s communities.”
