Americans are spending more on home improvements, but at a slower pace than last year. Spending by homeowners on property improvements is expected to reach an estimated $151 billion for the 12 months ending in the third quarter of this year, according to data released by the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies.
American Airlines cargo division opened a $5 million, 25,000-square foot temperature-controlled warehouse facility at Philadelphia International Airport. The company said the investment is in response to rising demand for transportation of complex pharmaceuticals.
