Oracle, like all big software makers, regularly patches security holes found in its software. Just this month, Oracle issued 154 new security patches for its software. Six of the twelve “holes” found in Oracle’s E-Business Suite, its main financial app, were found in about an hour by interns working at security researcher, ERPScan Research.
This news comes on the heels of a comment made by Oracle Chief Security Officer, Mary Ann Davidson, in which she told the world that Oracle was more than capable of finding all the security holes itself.
