Chris Holman talks with Pam Lippitt, executive director of Michigan Israel Business Bridge (MIBB). They discuss two events that are coming up in March.
On March 3, there will be a breakfast meet and greet, with two Technion University students. Technion University can be equated as the MIT of Israel. One of students attending the event is a doctoral candidate from chemistry, and the other is a third year undergrad student in Computer Science, who will be focusing on privacy in digital communications.
Lawrence Technological University and University of Michigan are currently working with Israel’s Technion University. There is great collaboration and potential collaborations with universities in Michigan.
The second event is on March 7, the Michigan Israel Automotive evening event, partnering with Export Institute of Israel and the Economic Mission Office in Chicago that services Michigan. They are going to bring in high tech companies in the automotive field, providing great connections between Michigan and Israel.
