Consumers will be raising money to help keep Michigan residents warm. All money they raise will go to Community Action Agencies, which will help people pay energy bills.
Consumers Energy will match every dollar that employees raise. Depending on how much employees raise, they will match up to $2 for every $1 they contribute. In 2015, more than 2,000 employees, family members and friends took part in Walks for Warmth. They and the company raised close to $200,000.
