The U.S. is importing more foreign crude than it has in years, becoming one of the last ports of call for many oil-producing nations despite a glut of crude from domestic companies.
Imports of pirated and counterfeit goods are worth nearly half a trillion dollars a year, or around 2.5 percent of global imports, with U.S., Italian, and French brands the hardest hit.
There are no regulatory guidelines for what makes a household product “natural.” Makers of detergents, dish soaps and other household cleaners aren’t required by law to disclose their ingredients to consumers.
