In a continuation of a conversation Jeffrey had recently with Todd Surline, President of Hiring Solutions, he picks up on updates to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) with Danica Desgranges, Associate Human Resources Consultant. The Trio discuss the three typical categories of exemped job duties which are called “executuve”, “professional”, and “administrative.” They also cover the salary level jump from $23,660 to $47,476. Along with that Danica points out the various investigations that are a part of the FLSA. Lastly they discuss different options employers have to accompany the new law regulations, which once again, take effect this December 1st.
