Jeffrey Mosher hit the road to the parking ramp of Sparrow Hospital early this month to take in a rare visitor to the healthcare system.

Sparrow officials admit they don’t often get horses at Sparrow but a special one is coming to entertain young Patients at Sparrow. It’s Clifford, the Morgan horse from Charlotte (and Drummond Island) who’s famed for his painting skills and as the subject of several books.

Clifford has become nationally known with viral videos showing his incredible painting. We will bring the young Patients from the Sparrow Children’s Center to visit with Clifford and delight in his antics on a parking deck of Sparrow Hospital.

There’s a serious medical purpose here, too: Clifford’s visit is part of our innovative pet therapy program in which Patients benefit from the healing and emotional powers of animals. Excellent opportunity for b-roll of Clifford with Patients, plus interviews with his owner and Sparrow Caregivers.
