On Thursday, October 29th The MBN Speaker Series continues virtually with a special Business + Sports event featuring Michigan State University Men’s Basketball Head Coach Tom Izzo.
Now in his 25th year, Izzo has compiled an impressive list of accomplishments, including the 2000 NCAA National Championship, nine regular-season Big Ten Championships, six Big Ten Tournament titles, eight Final Four appearances, eight National Coach of the Year awards and a Big Ten-record 22 straight NCAA Tournament appearances. This marks the third time Izzo has headlined MBN’s Business/Sports event. He previously was featured in 2007 and 2017 for a series which has been running annually since 2004.
NOTE: MSU Athletic Director Bill Beekman has informed us that he is being called into an unanticipated Board of Regents board meeting. In his place the speaker for Thursday, Oct 29th will be MSU Head Men’s Basketball Coach Tom Izzo.
