“A child reached is a child saved” is the guiding belief behind Adoption Option Inc., a Michigan nonprofit child-placing agency. Founded to serve children in the foster care system and provide free information about helping those children, the organization now also offers adoption, foster home licensing, foster care services, two types of parent education services and mentoring services.

Today, founder Delois Leapheart serves as the organization’s president and CEO. Leadership Lowdown host Vic Verchereau explores the agency’s history and the passion that emerges when a leader chooses to get involved and make a difference. Listen in to discover why everyone deserves a forever family.
