This Is What We’ve Been Building!

At the beginning of this year, we told you that we were busy crafting and creating something special for the future of Back to the Bricks®, and this is it!

I am beyond excited to introduce our brand-new Back to the Bricks® Members-Only Program!

This program was created for everyone. Whether you own a classic car or truck, a show car, a motorcycle, a daily cruiser, or you simply love automotive history and the events we bring to our community, you belong here.

The Members-Only Program is about so much more than vehicles. It is about building relationships, creating new experiences, supporting our mission, and becoming part of the Back to the Bricks® family.

Members can choose from several levels, each offering special benefits such as merchandise discounts, members-only events, exclusive updates, priority event check-in, special gifts, VIP opportunities, and more.

Your annual membership will also help Back to the Bricks® continue hosting free community events, celebrating Flint’s proud automotive heritage, and creating programs that bring people together for generations to come.

This is a new chapter for our organization, and I cannot wait to see where it takes us. We have worked hard to create a program that makes our supporters feel more connected, appreciated, and involved throughout the entire year.

You do not need a show vehicle to join. You only need a love for the community, the automotive world, and the mission of Back to the Bricks®.

Let’s build this family together! Sign up. Rev up. Be part of the movement!

22nd Annual Main Event Week

Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday – One Classic Car at a Time

There are few places where American history comes alive quite like Flint, Michigan.

As the birthplace of General Motors and one of the communities that helped put America on wheels, Flint has long been a symbol of innovation, craftsmanship, determination, and pride. This summer, Back to the Bricks® invites enthusiasts from across the country to celebrate not only our incredible automotive heritage, but also a milestone that belongs to every American—the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America.

From Tuesday, August 11 through Saturday, August 15, 2026, Main Event Week returns with five unforgettable days of classic cars, live entertainment, family fun, and patriotic celebration.

Throughout the week, you’ll notice a special red, white, and blue spirit woven into every event. Whether you’re cruising in your favorite collector car, attending with your family, or volunteering alongside hundreds of dedicated supporters, we encourage everyone to embrace the America 250 celebration.

Decorate your vehicle with American flags. Wear your favorite patriotic apparel. Show off your stars and stripes. Most importantly, celebrate the freedom, community, and automotive heritage that make this event uniquely American.

Tuesday Starts Under the Stars

Main Event Week officially begins with one of our most beloved traditions—Bricks Flicks, presented by Huntington Bank at the historic US 23 Drive-In Theatre.

As the gates open at 4:00 PM, families will enjoy an evening packed with entertainment before settling in for this year’s featured movie, F1. Racing fans of every generation will love the action as Formula One takes over the giant drive-in screen at dusk.

Before the movie begins, visitors can enjoy live music from local favorite Dave Lagness, entertainment from DJ Scott Kool, exciting RC Car Races for kids, local vendors, delicious concessions, and plenty of opportunities to admire beautiful collector vehicles parked throughout the drive-in.

It’s the perfect way to kick off an unforgettable week.

Wednesday Rolls into Grand Blanc

The celebration continues on Wednesday as Back to the Bricks® partners once again with the Grand Blanc Chamber for the ever-popular Roll On In event at Grand Blanc High School.

Hundreds of classic vehicles, food trucks, community organizations, live entertainment, vendors, and family activities make this one of the most welcoming stops of Main Event Week. Bring your lawn chairs, enjoy dinner with friends, and experience another evening celebrating Michigan’s incredible automotive community.

Two Days of Rolling Cruise Tradition

Wednesday and Thursday also feature what many enthusiasts consider the heart of Main Event Week—the legendary Back to the Bricks® Rolling Cruise.

From Downtown Flint through Burton and Grand Blanc, thousands of collector vehicles will once again fill Saginaw Street as spectators line the route to wave, cheer, and celebrate one of Michigan’s largest cruising traditions.

Whether you’re behind the wheel or watching from the sidewalk, there’s nothing quite like hearing the rumble of classic V8s, seeing chrome sparkle in the summer sun, and watching generations share their love of automobiles.

Along the route, the popular Mega Site at Saginaw and Hemphill serves as a destination all its own, featuring live entertainment, sponsor displays, automotive vendors, food vendors, Back to the Bricks® merchandise, and family-friendly activities throughout both evenings.

Friday Night Belongs to Downtown Flint

As Main Event Week builds toward Saturday, Friday evening transforms Downtown Flint into one giant celebration during the annual Cruise N Concert.

Beginning at 3:00 PM, collector cars fill the streets while visitors explore downtown restaurants, local businesses, automotive vendors, food trucks, and the incredible energy that only Back to the Bricks® can create.

When the music begins at 6:00 PM, the streets become one enormous outdoor concert venue.

Opening the evening is Allentown – A Billy Joel Tribute, followed by an unforgettable headline performance from Lookin’ Back – A Tribute to Bob Seger, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Bob Seger’s iconic Night Moves album.

It’s a night where Michigan’s automotive legacy meets Michigan’s legendary music, creating one of the largest free outdoor concerts in the state.

Saturday: America, Automobiles & Community

Then comes Saturday. The grand finale.

Thousands of collector vehicles will fill Downtown Flint for the Back to the Bricks® Main Event, one of the nation’s premier automotive gatherings.

The day begins with the moving Opening Ceremony, honoring our veterans, active-duty military personnel, first responders, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

As America celebrates its 250th birthday, this year’s ceremony carries even greater significance—a reminder that the freedoms we enjoy today were earned through the courage and sacrifice of generations before us.

Following the ceremony, Downtown Flint comes alive with thousands of spectacular collector vehicles, feature displays, automotive vendors, sponsor exhibits, the Swap Meet, FREE Car Sales Lot, food vendors, live entertainment, Automotive Heritage displays, and activities for the entire family.

Whether you’re a lifelong participant or experiencing Back to the Bricks® for the very first time, Main Event Saturday is a celebration unlike any other.
