Lansing, MI – Twenty-seven organizations from across the state have taken the next step in their growth, as they completed a program specifically designed to take mission-driven businesses to the next level.
The Center for Social Enterprise Development (CSED) successfully concluded its first Social Enterprise Collective, which aims to increase the sustainability and impact of mission-driven businesses. The inaugural cohort is supported by Incompass Michigan and the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM), who sponsored workshops and technical training sessions over the past 6 months.
“As Michigan’s small business community grows, so does its collective impact,” said Brian Calley, President and CEO of SBAM. “Equipping these mission-driven organizations with advanced financing, marketing and legal strategies primes them for sustained growth and success that benefits our entire state.”
