MBN: OSU UOM 3

MBN: OSU UoM 1Milwaukee – This morning, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled an officially licensed Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Michigan Wolverines Football Rivalry Bobblehead in celebration of the 121st meeting between the teams on Saturday. The limited-edition bobblehead featuring vintage style bobbleheads dressed in Ohio State and Michigan uniforms commemorates the longtime football rivalry, which is better known as the “The Game” and is considered one of the biggest rivalries in all of sports.

The bobblehead is being released ahead of the annual meeting between the teams on Saturday, November 29th in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Ohio State is currently ranked #1 in the nation, while Michigan is ranked #15 in the nation and looking to upset their bitter rival following a memorable game at Ohio State last season. The bobblehead is available exclusively from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of Ohio State University and the University of Michigan.

All the details are below, and you can find pictures and graphics of the bobblehead that you can use at this Dropbox link. The bobbleheads are now available exclusively in our online store at the following link.

  • The bobbleheads are now available in the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store at this link.
  • The bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in May, are $50 each plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.
  • Each bobblehead will be individually numbered to 2,025.
  • The bobblehead is being released in conjunction with the 121st meeting between the teams on Saturday, November 29th at Michigan Stadium (aka “The Big House”).
  • Standing side-by-side on a football field base that reads “OHIO STATE VS MICHIGAN” across the front in red and blue, the vintage style bobbleheads are wearing their respective uniforms while giving the No. 1 signal and holding a football adorned with their school logo.
  • The Ohio State-Michigan football rivalry, which started in 1897, is considered one of the most intense rivalries in all of sports in the United States. Many of the games have determined the Big Ten Conference title and the resulting Rose Bowl Game matchups, as well as the NCAA championship. In 2000, the game was ranked by ESPN as the greatest North American sports rivalry ever. Encyclopedia Britannica includes the rivalry as one of the 10 great sports rivalries in history. It is often the most viewed college football game of the regular season.
  • “The Game” is a matchup between the teams that have the most wins (Michigan) and second most wins (Ohio State) of any program in NCAA Division I football history. Michigan leads the all-time series, 62-52-6, and has won the last four meetings. The teams have played annually all but once since 1918. The only break in over a century came in 2020 due to a COVID-19 outbreak on Michigan’s team during the COVID-19 pandemic. The game has closed out the regular season for both teams since 1935 except for the 1942, 1986, 1998, and 2020 seasons.
  • “We’re excited to unveil this limited-edition Ohio State vs. Michigan Football Rivalry Bobblehead ahead of the 2025 matchup in Ann Arbor,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “This bobblehead will be the perfect way for Ohio State and Michigan fans, alumni, students, faculty, and staff to show off their school and state pride!”
