(Lansing, Mich.) — The Lansing Regional Chamber-Political Action Committee (LRC-PAC) today announced its endorsement of Mike Duggan, Independent candidate for Governor of Michigan.
LRC-PAC represents more than 1,000 businesses across the tri-county region. The LRC-PAC mission is to endorse candidates who support job creation, economic vitality and strong communities throughout the Lansing region.
“We’re proud to support the one candidate who has consistently delivered growth, accountability, and real results: Mike Duggan,” said Tim Daman, President and CEO of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. “As mayor, Mike partnered with businesses of every size to turn Detroit into one of the nation’s greatest comeback stories. Now, Michigan needs that same results-driven leadership to help communities and employers across the state to get Michigan back on track. On behalf of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, we are proud to endorse Mike Duggan for Governor of Michigan.”
The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce endorsement marks the third major Chamber of Commerce endorsement earned this campaign. Previously, the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce and Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce endorsed Duggan.
“I’m honored to earn the endorsement of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce,” said Mike Duggan. “The Lansing Regional Chamber understands what it takes to create jobs, attract investment, and strengthen communities. In Detroit, we proved that when business and government work together, you can turn decline into growth. That’s exactly the approach I’ll bring to Lansing, putting aside politics, focusing on results, and building an economy that works for every corner of Michigan.”
