DETROIT (Sept. 9, 2025) – The Detroit Auto Show is excited to announce today that Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Stellantis, and Toyota are the first major global automakers to confirm participation for the January 2026 show in the Motor City. Numerous other automakers and brands will be announced throughout the year. The Detroit Auto Show runs January 14-25, 2026, at Huntington Place.
“Building on the momentum from the 2025 Detroit Auto Show, we’re thrilled to announce Ford, General Motors, Stellantis, and Toyota will participate in the 2026 show,” said Todd Szott, Chairman, 2026 Detroit Auto Show. “We are incredibly appreciative for their ongoing commitment to bring the Motor City one of the best shows in the world and support our more than a century of automotive heritage with the show.”
The 2025 Detroit Auto Show delivered more than 100,000 test drives on four indoor tracks, attracted hundreds of thousands of attendees and had an economic impact of up to $370 million.
“These four automakers don’t just make cars — they move markets,” said Sam Klemet, Executive Director of the Detroit Auto Show. “Having Ford, GM, Stellantis, and Toyota at the forefront of the 2026 show underscores just how important Detroit remains to the global auto industry.”
Successful elements from last year’s show will also return including the popular “Racing Day” – in partnership with the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix – which will feature a vehicle demo track, hands-on experiences and sessions with IndyCar drivers during the public days.
Additionally, The Gallery, an ultra-luxury and exotic vehicle showcase which last year included 50 prestigious automobiles, will return in 2026.
