Lansing, Michigan-based organization honored for third time
LANSING, Mich. — LAFCU is proud to announce it has been named one of the Best Credit Unions to Work For in 2025 by American Banker. This marks the third time the Lansing, Michigan-based credit union has received this prestigious recognition, which highlights credit unions that excel in workplace culture, employee satisfaction, and organizational performance.
LAFCU was recognized in the largest asset category, which includes credit unions with more than $1 billion in assets.

The Best Credit Unions to Work For program was created to spotlight exceptional employers in the credit union industry. The selection process includes an evaluation of workplace policies and practices, which makes up 25% of the assessment, and an employee satisfaction survey, which accounts for the remaining 75%. Final rankings are determined by combining the results from both components.
From the survey of LAFCU staff, 92% of employees agreed they are very satisfied with LAFCU as their employer, and 90% said they are willing to give extra effort to help the organization succeed — reflecting the organization’s deep commitment to creating a supportive and mission-driven work environment.
