DETROIT (Sept. 4, 2025) – The Detroit Auto Show today announced that SAE International will co-sponsor, with the Detroit Auto Dealers Association, Media and Industry Days at the 2026 Detroit Auto Show enhancing the connection to the automotive industry and creating learning opportunities for students from Pre-Kindergarten through college.
SAE International engages nearly 200,000 engineers, technical experts, volunteers, and students worldwide to advance safe, clean, and accessible mobility solutions. Through this partnership, a portion of Detroit Auto Show Industry Day ticket sales will support SAE’s AWIM® and University Programs inspiring the next generation of innovators through hands-on STEM experiences for PreK–12 students and college participants.

Additional SAE participation in Media and Industry Days, including the Mobility Global Forum, will be announced as details are finalized.
