Following the success of its first 2025 competition, this second round will offer even more entrepreneurs the opportunity to secure critical funding, gain visibility and make valuable connections. The 3X3 Pitch Competition celebrates entrepreneurial drive and innovation, showcasing businesses that are creating jobs, solving local problems and reinvesting in their communities.

Personalized Coaching with Marc Alexander To ensure participants are fully prepared, Velocity is offering two hours of one-on-one coaching with industry expert Marc Alexander, Founder of Lite Tuition and Co-Founder/CEO of Lite Raise. Marc brings deep expertise in education, nonprofit leadership, and community development, and will work closely with each participant to refine their pitch.
Widely recognized for reshaping fundraising and empowering change, Marc’s coaching will provide entrepreneurs with the insight and confidence to deliver compelling presentations that resonate with judges and audiences alike.
Eligibility Requirements The 3X3 Pitch Competition is open to for-profit businesses based in Macomb County that meet the following criteria:
· Must be a for-profit business registered in Macomb County, and one of the following:
· Experienced financial hardship during COVID-19
· Located within a designated impact zone
· SEDI-Owned Business: At least 51% owned by a woman, veteran, LGBTQ+ individual, person with a disability, or another underserved group as defined by the U.S. Treasury
