LAFCU awards $10K to essay contest winners to support debt reduction and financial goals

LAFCU celebrates the winners of its 2025 Pathway to Financial Transformation Essay Contest during a special event Thursday, July 17. The Michigan-based credit union awarded a total of $10,000 to four individuals whose essays were selected from entries across the state. One on this video with the others to receive theirs when available. In addition to receiving $2,500 checks, winner shares their personal stories and speak about their financial journeys.
