FlintNOW, Huntington Bank and Flint & Genesee Chamber Announce First 30 Flint Small Businesses to Receive Grants from the Moving Flint Forward Fund
The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce, along with its partners Huntington Bank and the FlintNOW Foundation, will announce 30 grant recipients from the Moving Flint Forward Fund.
The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce, working with FlintNOW and the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, launched the Moving Flint Forward Initiative and created The Moving Flint Forward Fund to provide grants, ranging from $5,000 to $10,000, to local Flint businesses. The fund, administered by the Genesee Chamber Foundation, is a support organization of the Flint & Genesee Chamber.
The first investment to the Moving Flint Forward Fund was $1 million donated from Huntington Bank in partnership with the FlintNOW Foundation. Thirty grant recipients will be announced during the brief presentation.
