The 2026 Detroit Auto Show will be a hub for everything experiential,” Detroit Auto Show Chairman Todd Szott said. “From on-track vehicle comparisons, to firsthand previews of emerging technologies, to important industry conversations, to engaging student career exploration, the show will feature two weeks of fully immersive experiences and programming.”

The 2025 Detroit Auto Show saw enthusiastic attendee engagement with over 100,000 test drives delivered on four indoor tracks, in addition to several unique brand activations and nearly 500 vehicles on display, including a showcase of ultra-luxury and enthusiasts’ vehicles.

“Our show is so much more than walking around and looking at cars,” said Detroit Auto Show Executive Director Sam Klemet. “It’s about getting behind the wheel, feeling the power, and understanding the incredible technology driving today’s vehicles — whether they run on electricity, hybrid systems, or traditional gas engines. You can experience it all on our indoor tracks, from the instant torque of an EV to the deep rumble of a performance car. It’s a celebration of innovation, energy, and the spirit of Detroit.”
