One of the largest matchmaking events in Michigan, the 2015 SBAM Matchmaking Summit took place at the Burton Manor, in Livonia, Michigan.

This event was hosted by the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) and Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC), gathering 28 purchasers with more than 300 needs to present opportunities to suppliers from across the state. The event included one-on-one meetings, informational walk-up tables, an interactive needs exercise, and numerous networking opportunities during this dynamic matchmaking event. In these excerpts, Trevor Pawl, the Managing Director Pure Michigan Business Connect, Michigan Economic Development Corporation, welcomes the crowd to the summit. He gives insight on what they were set to experience that day from global companies, startups, casinos, buyers and sellers from various industries that are creating partnerships to grow Michigan’s economy.
